Editorial policy
The guides are written in a neutral tone. They do not urge a person to file, to wait, or to pick a lawyer. They do not promise an award.
Independence: the site is not part of a government agency. Coverage does not change because a law firm sends a business inquiry. The call form is labeled attorney advertising and sits on the quiz page, apart from the program descriptions. It does not recommend a lawyer or a firm.
Corrections: a material error is fixed in the content file, the “Last updated” date changes, and the source link remains so a reader can compare. The address on the privacy page is for deletion requests only. It is not a news desk. The public sources are the check.
Conflicts: business inquiries from firms are stored separately from call requests. They are not treated as tips and they are not written up as news.
User submissions of fraud allegations are not accepted as content. News comes from the agency’s own release.
