On December 18, 2024, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Hampshire said Ryan Leblanc, 37, pleaded guilty to making false statements to obtain more than $118,000 in SNAP and child care benefits. Sentencing was set for March 31, 2025. The release does not report the sentence. 1 Source 1

The release says that between March 2019 and December 2023 he told the state health department that the mother of his children was an absent parent, omitted her from the household, and underreported income and resources. It says the false-statements charge carries up to 5 years in prison. That is a statutory maximum, not a sentence imposed in the release. 1 Source 1
